I am thankful for the book, The Puzzle Principle by Dr. Tammy Cox.
This book encouraged me to closely examine my children and their God given personality traits. I now see their strengths and weaknesses in an entirely different light. The things that I love about them are often the same things that drive me crazy.
Andrew and I are text book melancholy.
Olivia is without a doubt phlegmatic.
Scott is choleric.
We all think, feel, and respond differently, and God designed our family this way.
I feel empowered and more understood. Not to mention, Scott and Olivia don't seem so crazy now.
I now find myself categorizing people by their personality traits. It is incredibly informative, and I have become much more accepting and less judgmental.
I am thankful that God made us all different, and different is beautiful.
And what am I? I don't know what any of those things mean anyway! lol.
