My "Berfday"

About 15 years ago, the excitement over celebrating my birthday fizzled.  With that said, I am incredibly thankful that I continue to have reason to celebrate.

My only special request for my family this year was the gift of cooperation for a few photos.

I have been following along with Joey+Rory .  The fact that Rory captured so much of their life in photos is truly a gift for everyone.  My continued goal is to be the same kind of story teller for my family.  I only wish that I had his way with words.

Olivia Is 7!

Olivia turned 7 last week, and she was really sick.  I am talkin' 104 fever for over 7 days.  The two of us found ourselves confined to our cozy little house for what felt like an eternity.  Anyhoo...we tried to make the most out of her special day.  We had Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast and a tea party for lunch.

 It was the perfect day minus the high fever and sleepy birthday girl.

Grandma's 80th Birthday Celebration

Grandma thought that she was spending the afternoon with this little miss. Little did she know that the majority of her family was waiting for the perfect opportunity to jump out and yell, "SURPRISE!"

It was an absolutely wonderful day celebrating one of my favorite ladies. Happy 80th Birthday Grandma Trout! You are truly great! Thanks for creating such wonderful, unforgettable memories for me. I always smile at the thought of you!
