Uh Oh!

I was in the middle of vacuuming the front room yesterday morning when I heard Jax proclaim, "Uh oh!"  I rushed into the kitchen to find him sitting in a pile of oyster crackers that he had snagged from his diaper bag. His cuteness made my heart skip a beat.  I have very similar photos of both of his older siblings and their "uh oh" moments.

Some crazy woman decided to buy the largest possible water guns for these two silly children.  She quickly regretted that decision.

Olivia is already planning J Man's Sesame Street first birthday party.  Of course, she was insistent upon making an Elmo pinata.

Every afternoon, Jaxson tries to steal Andrew's school binder.  It is a daily struggle between brothers.

Yep...they are both licking his leg.

Oli Goose is terrified that Jax is going to choke on something.  She is constantly checking his mouth as a precautionary measure.  I happened to have the camera close a few nights ago when the following happened.

"Don't worry mom.  He doesn't have anything in his mouth.  He must have been holding his tongue funny."

Easter 2014

It is getting harder by the second to capture an accurate photo of the J Man.  He is busy and very interested in cameras.

We served in the children's department at church on Saturday night allowing us to just attend service on Easter.  It was still super hectic trying to get everything accomplished while making it to church on time.  We went to Grandpa and Grandma H's house for lunch and family fun.  Aunt Jill, Uncle Dale, Hannah, and Breanna managed to put together the world's most difficult Easter egg hunt for the kiddos.  It was a beautiful day spent reflecting on the fact that our Savior is alive!

We didn't buy new outfits for Easter Sunday (ain't got time for that), but we did manage to match.  Orange is totally an Easter color...right?

Babies and Bunnies

Thankfully they are my babies, but not my bunnies.

Sweet Anita at Birdie Belle Photography took these adorable photos of my 3 tiniest loves.  We thought that Jaxson would love the bunnies.  He didn't quite know what to think when we quickly set him down and started piling bunnies on his lap.  It was only a 15 minute photo shoot so there was no time for a slow introduction.

Science Center

Scott took Friday off from work, and we ventured to one of our favorite places...the St. Louis Science Center.  It was a day filled with awesome science experiments including making mucus and extracting DNA.  

On the way in to the Center, we spotted a cake.  St Louis is celebrating its 250th birthday this year.  In celebration, 250 cakes similar to the one pictured below have been placed at special attractions all around the city and surrounding areas.  We are on a mission to locate as many as possible.  To date, we have found 12 cakes...only 238 more to photograph.

Before heading home, we stopped at the notorious, supposedly haunted Lemp Mansion for a cake spotting.

I mentioned taking Jax's photo dressed like a bunny to the oldies last week.  They held me accountable, and the photo shoot happened this morning.  Boy...I am so thankful that it did.  

People get excited...the Easter Bunny is coming!
