Hello Waterboy

Yesterday morning, Scott received a text from Andrew's basketball coach asking if Andrew would be interested in serving the high school varsity basketball team.  He would be the prestigious water boy for the 8:00 game.  Andrew was incredibly excited until he was handed the first sweaty towel.  It comes as no surprise that he took his responsibility very serious.  Who knows...in just a few years, he might just be the player handing an excited fifth grader a disgusting towel.

Happy 18 Months Jaxson Scott!

Eighteen months ago, an explosion of joy hit our home in the form of a precious baby boy. He has the stature of a line backer, the heart of a champion, and the desire to charm the socks off everyone he meets. He is unstoppable (literally)! Happy half b-day J Man.

The negative to taking photos of your own children is that they have already seen all your tricks, and they aren't impressed. He also has no sense of personal space with the camera.

First Snow of the Season

The first snow came incredibly early, but it was absolutely beautiful.

Jax loved playing in the "no" with Bubba and LaLa.

Leaves

Olivia decided to make the most out of the very last day of warm weather.  

The snow was a comin'.  

She managed to pull daddy's leg, and he joined her in the leaf jumping fun.

I purchased a new lens for my Nikon.  

Yeah.  I can now better adjust the depth of field.  

Anyhoo...I needed a model to practice, and Olivia quickly volunteered. 

 I am so thankful that she did because I love these photos of her.

Trick or Treat

Our costume plans had been decided for months.  We created an adorable Bacon Lover costume for Andrew, and his extremely adorable sidekick was going to be a pig.  Unfortunately, the weather was bitterly cold, and we decided that Jax would not be spending hours trick or treating in our neighborhood.  Andrew decided that a Bacon Lover would be lame without his pig.

Official 2014 Family Photos

After having to cancel our family photo shoot twice with a photographer due to unusually cool temperatures and illness, I decided to head to the park with my loves and the trusty tripod.  Of course, it started to rain as we were leaving the house, but thankfully we didn't let that fool our plans.  

It was cold.  It was wet.  It was rather miserable.  It worked out.
