Today (and everyday), I am thankful for the opportunity to parent a child who has my exact same personality. Let's just say...it isn't always the easiest personality to manage. We are stubborn, right fighters, emotional, intelligent, and bossy. We are natural born leaders. We see things black and white. There is NO gray in our world. We are deep thinkers and problem solvers. We are loners by nature but desire strong, real relationships. Did I mention that we are stubborn and always right?
This sweet boy has taught me so very much about myself. God has used him to make me a better person. For that, I am so very thankful!
The bonus is that I get to watch as this fella grows into the man that God has created him to be. We have had a few rough weeks along the way (like this one), but those weeks help us both become more like Christ.
Thankful that I share his personality...
