We put some of our party decorations to good use and styled a photo shoot for Jaxson in hopes of capturing the perfect photo for a thank you card.  Much to our surprise, we have several options.  How will we ever choose just one?

Have I mentioned that he is spoiled rotten?  We know.  We try.  We fail.  We need a cuteness intervention!

Celebrating Jaxson's 2nd Birthday "Under the Big Top"

We celebrated Jaxson's birthday with a couple handfuls of our closest family and friends (36 to be exact).  When I planned a party for May 31, I envisioned warm weather, gathering outside, and water activities.  Little did I know that a lot of rain was expected, and that the temperature for the day wouldn't exceed 65 degrees.  With that said, our home was very cozy.  We did manage to have an incredible time celebrating our favorite 2 year old.  As everyone was leaving, Jax began saying, "Happy day!"  It was absolutely precious.  Everyday with Jax is a happy day!

Ashley's absence did not go unnoticed.  In fact, I really struggled emotionally.  When our guests left, the five of us let balloons go in memory of her.  This is going to become a yearly tradition.

A Perfectly Pink Sprinkle For My Perfectly Sweet Friend, Laura

Daun and I hosted a surprise sprinkle for Laura at my house on Sunday.  I spent very little money to create a sweet party space.  Andrew actually said, "Mom, it looks like a pink elephant exploded in our house."  We managed to pull off the surprise (which was a miracle).  Let's just say...Laura is hard to fool.

I am confident that Laura felt celebrated and loved.  I sure do love her, and I can't wait for the princess to arrive!

Strawberry Shortcake Tea Party

Today Olivia and I hosted a Strawberry Shortcake party for a few of her friends.  We invited all the girlies who had brothers at camp and a couple school pals.  We had a "berry" fun time.  I started the party by reading Strawberry's First Sleepover.  We then went on a strawberry hunt, ate at Strawberry Shortcake Cafe, designed our own bags at Raspberry Torte's store, had a water balloon fight, swam, and ate an adorable tea pot cake created by the one and only Catherine's Cakery. www.catherinescakery.com

 Of course, the pictures don't do it justice.  Why, oh why am I always too lazy/busy to get out the tripod?

The best part (in Scott's opinion) is that I only spent a few dollars on lunch.  I just used things that I had sitting around.  (right Mindy?)

A Pinkilicious Thank You

At O's Pinkalicious Party, the sweet girlies made a puzzle piece picture frame.  Yes...I spray painted all 1000 pieces!  I think that they turned out absolutely pinkalicious!
