We have made it a tradition to make flower arrangements and deliver them to the stones of several of our nation's many heroes who have been buried at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. I debated skipping this year because it has been a dreary, rainy afternoon. It hit me that so many of these very men and women spent hours, days, weeks, months, and years in less than perfect weather conditions. Needless to say, we visited this spectacular reminder of the cost of freedom.
