We recently watched the adorable movie, "Ramona and Beezus".

Of course, the two of you had to mimic Ramona and make the largest drawing on earth.

It was filled with images from all 4 seasons. I especially loved the hot air balloons, blimp, and snowmen.

Your creativity amazes me!

I Have Never Loved My Laundry More

After church on Sunday, we ventured outside to play in the melting snow.

We made a teeny-tiny snowman, (Of course, we had to use my favorite scarf!) and threw a few snowballs.

Playing in the snow does not top my favorite things to do list, but playing with the two of you is at the top of that list. Thanks for playing with me!

Our Christmas Card Photo Shoot

The goal was for us all to hold the chalkboard with a "crabby" face.

One of us refused to participate.

The same one of us who doesn't usually find it difficult to act crabby in photos.

A Snowy Christmas Morning

Andrew couldn't wait to start creating his Lego castle.

While dad played on the Wii, Andrew worked on his Lego creation. Olivia and I sewed sleeping bags and matching pillows for her American Girl dolls.

Even though Olivia now has Andrew and Paige, Hannah is still the baby of choice. She couldn't wait to try on their matching outfits.

It has been a very Merry Christmas!

My Baby Boy Is 7!

We celebrated your 7th birthday on December 9th.

We invited the Shreves and the Sargents over for pizza and cake (ice cream cake to be exact). It was the perfect way to celebrate my perfect Andrew. While folding this week's laundry, I folded 20 pairs of your socks and only 1 pair of your underwear. That is a Problem (with a capital P)! I can't wait to watch you explore and experience your 7th year of life. (and I better fold less socks and more underwear)

Christma Square Dance

Saturday night, SCCC hosted a family square dance.

Dad and I discovered a new LOVE for square dancing

(even though we were incredibly sore on Sunday).

It was a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations.

Main Street in St. Charles

Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas by visiting Historic St. Charles.

We listened to carolers, collected cards from make-believe characters, dreamed in a fancy doll store, snacked on kettle corn, and snuggled to keep warm.
