The Light

Andrew, While spending our day at Star Wars weekend, you decided that you wanted to build your own lightsaber. You were excited to build a lightsaber that looked like Darth Vaders.
You rationalized that you needed a red saber since you already had blue for Luke and green for Yoda. You thought "Your Father" needed a red lightsaber for our fights.
I loved watching you choose your individual pieces for the perfect lightsaber.
That night, we were all super tired. As you started off to bed, you broke into tears. I thought you were upset that vacation was over. Nope, my boy was upset that he chose a red lightsaber which symbolized evil. I was humored yet proud that my boy had a guilty conscience. I'm proud of my boy who in real life... stands for "GOOD"
